Shipping fees for packages departing from Promote Black Women are based on the aggregate weight of the items purchased, and are calculated at checkout.
Each item at Promote Black Women is handled with care by humans - which requires exceptional detail and care during production. All product that leaves the studio is personally inspected, then thoughtfully hand-packaged with high-quality shipping materials for its journey to you!
Orders are shipped from Promote Black Women Monday-Friday. Please allow 24-48 hours from the receipt of your shipping confirmation email for the package to process into the USPS tracking system. USPS First Class packages are on a general 3-7 day "expected" delivery range by the postal service. However, SHIPPING TRANSIT TIMES ARE NOT GUARANTEED by USPS, and may take up to three or more weeks.
**NOTE: THE USPS IS EXPERIENCING SIGNIFICANT DELIVERY DELAYS ATTRIBUTED TO PANDEMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY TIMELINES. THIS RETAILER STRONGLY SUGGESTS THE SELECTION OF THE "USPS PRIORITY" SHIPPING CLASS FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE A HIGHER LEVEL OF SHIPPING SPEED EXPECTATION AND ACCURACY.
NEED IT FAST? Select the "USPS PRIORITY” shipping option at checkout. Your order will ship with a 1-4 day "expected" delivery, and up to $50 of package insurance by USPS Priority class service.
As is standard practice in the United States, "Business Days" are calculated as Mondays through Fridays - excluding national and postal holidays.
International shipping time for first class mail is about 6-8 weeks, dependent upon customs processing in your country. On rare occasions, your package may be held in customs for up to 4-6 weeks. International customers are responsible for any and/or all customs fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping & purchasing to their respective countries, should they be assessed.
LOST OR LATE PACKAGE? Once your shipment leaves the Shop's possession with a tracking number, responsibility for its delivery lies with the USPS. Issues with lost or late packages must be addressed by the Purchaser directly to the carrier, through its Help Request or Claim portal. Seller will provide package details for these claims at Purchaser request.
SELLER WILL NOT REFUND PURCHASES OR SHIPPING UPGRADE FEES FOR NON-DELIVERY, LATE DELIVERY, OR INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS RETURNS BY USPS. Standard shipping does NOT include package insurance. Priority service strongly suggested for those who receive mail delivery through an un-managed community mailroom or similar. Packages confirmed as delivered by USPS will not be replaced by promoteBLACKwomen.com
RETURNED PACKAGES: This shop relies on the true and accurate shipping details entered by you during the checkout process. If a package is returned to the retailer as undeliverable, you may correct your shipping address and have it sent again for a re-shipping fee based on package weight to U.S. destinations, and beginning at $16.00 for international destinations.
