My Story - How it all started
Before I launched Promote Black Women, my journey began in the streets of Compton, and continued to the heights of corporate America. I was often the Only in the room, nervous and unsure of how to get a promotion, or stand out in a panel interview. I navigated career transitions alone. I have never had a formal mentor.
I’ve been exposed to what happens in executive rooms, behind closed doors… learning the unwritten rules for getting promoted. I’ve shared these secrets with Black women so that they can get promotions and higher salaries. I developed a proven formula for getting the job you want. My skills allow me to guide clients struggling to advance their career and I’ve impacted hundreds of lives.
I am dedicated to healing workplace trauma by sharing the unwritten rules most Black women are never taught. This way, we all elevate to the next level for ourselves, our families, and our community.
